ANTWERP TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office says a 96-year-old Mattawan man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a crash in Antwerp Township.
The man was driving a Ford pickup truck and failed to stop at the intersection of 58th Avenue and County Road 657.
The truck was T-boned by a Chevrolet pickup that was northbound on County Road 657, partially ejecting the elderly man from his truck.
The Ford was also sent into a stopped van.
Deputies say the Chevy driver suffered minor injuries, and the van driver was unhurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
