BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Battle Creek police have arrested the third suspect in the February 2023 murder of 17-year-old Battle Creek Central High School student Jack Snyder.
20-year-old Marcus Parsons was arrested Monday at a home in the first block of Tennyson Avenue in Battle Creek.
He is in the Calhoun County Jail and was charged yesterday with felony murder.
Prosecutors say he is responsible for communicating with then-14-year-olds Justice Chimner and Dewond Estes the Third to steal Snyder’s car.
Chimner admitted to shooting Snyder twice when they were trying to carjack him after Snyder offered to give them a ride home.
Parsons is due back in court on February 11.
