KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Kalamazoo man has been charged with murder in the death of a relative last Thursday.
Forty-two-year-old Jerry Lee Harvey is charged with open murder, illegal entry and felony firearm for the shooting death of 32-year-old Jeromey Harvey at a home on East Main Street near East Michigan Avenue.
The older Harvey was arrested a short time after the younger man was found.
Evidence at the scene linked Jerry Harvey to the crime according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
