KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It’s a new year and local officials want to know what is on the minds of taxpayers.
Kalamazoo city officials have two surveys planned.
3000 homes in the city of Kalamazoo have been picked at random to participate in a national community survey done every two years.
Chief operating officer Laura Lam says respondents will be contacted by post card, whether they have been chosen to participate.
Lam says they expect to get results on that in March.
Work on the city’s Imagine Kalamazoo 2035 Plan is just beginning.
Kalamazoo County is conducting a survey as they consider construction of a new Hazardous Waste Center on Lamont Street. They would like to know if it should expand the items it takes, among other things.
Administrator Kevin Catlin says…
It can be found on the front page of the county’s website.
