BANGOR TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A vehicle crash into a Bangor Township home early Sunday morning is under investigation by the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
A 38-year-old Battle Creek man hit the home around 2:30 a.m. when he didn’t stop for a stop sign on 70th Street at a T-shaped intersection.
The man was taken to Corewell Hospital in St. Joseph to be treated for his injuries.
Deputies believe alcohol may have been a factor and they are waiting for results from a blood draw that was sent to the Michigan State Police Crime Lab to be analyzed.
The owner of the home was not hurt and was sleeping in the main bedroom of the home when it was hit.
