DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices in Michigan are seven-cents a gallon lower to start the week at $3.03.
Triple-A Michigan says the price is down eight-cents from last month, and 11-cents higher than last year.
A full 15-gallon tank costs $45 on average in the state, down around $13 from the highest price last year in August 2023.
The highest prices in Michigan are in Ann Arbor and Jackson at $3.05 followed by metro Detroit at $3.04.
The lowest prices are in Traverse City at $2.88, Benton Harbor at $2.94, and Marquette at $2.95.
In southwest Michigan, Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties are at $2.96, Calhoun County is at $2.98, Cass County is at $3, St. Joseph County is at $3.02, Allegan County is $3.05, and Barry County is at $3.13.
