PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The city of Portage is launching its Portage Pocket Pay eGift Card to support local businesses and encourage people to shop locally.
They can be purchased online in customizable amounts and used at what the city says is a growing list of participating businesses in Portage.
Restaurants, retail shops, entertainment venues, and service providers accept the cards and City Manager Pat McGinnis says the program “makes it easy for residents to explore and enjoy the diverse offerings of Portage businesses while keeping dollars within our local economy.”
The Portage Pocket Pay program is part of the city’s ongoing commitment to fostering economic development and promoting a strong sense of community.
Businesses that want to get involved can sign up at portagemi.gov/pocketpay.
People can find more about the program or purchase a Portage Pocket Pay eGift Card at the same website.
