BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – There will be plenty of free holiday events in downtown Battle Creek on Friday and Saturday evening during the city’s annual Winter Wanderland.
This year’s special events over both nights include a Holiday Night Bazaar, horse-drawn carriage rides, a holiday tree forest, and mini–Polar Express train rides.
Events on Saturday include the Tinsel Toes 5K beginning at 5:30 p.m. and a BBBC Holiday Concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. at W.K. Kellogg Auditorium.
Due to the number of events and anticipated attendance, it’s recommended that you plan to arrive early to avoid missing out on the fun.
Because of the Tinsel Toes 5K starting and finishing at Full Blast, there will be intermittent road closures between Hamblin Avenue and Van Buren Street West, and from Division Street North to Washington Street North.
Due to the possibility of extreme temperatures and wind chills, organizers have decided to cancel the Live Nativity event.
