MARSHALL, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – As part of a Michigan’s Adoption Day, the Calhoun County 37th Judicial Circuit Court finalized adoptions on Tuesday for two families.
Judge John Hallacy presided over the hearings. The Honorable Thomas C. Cameron from the Michigan Court of Appeals was also in attendance.
So far this year, 85 adoptions have been filed in Calhoun County.
Michigan’s Adoption Day is an annual event that raises awareness of the thousands of children in foster care awaiting permanent homes and celebrates families who have opened their hearts through adoption.
