AUGUSTA, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The 2024 Veterans Day Program at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta will take place on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m..
All military members that served our nation will be honored and remembered.
Col. Frank J. Walker, Retired USAF/ANG, and Chair of the FCNC Advisory Board will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
The Program will include an invocation and benediction from Pastor Jamey Nichols of the Living Hope Community Church, opening remarks by FCNC Director Rodney Heard and patriotic music by Jonathon Barnes and fourth grade students from Comstock STEM Academy.
There will also be honors from the 110th Color Guard, Military Honors by the FCNC Honor Guard Friday squad and echo taps performed by Veterans Nicholas Batch and John Edwards and a Flyover by the Hooligans Flight Team.
Colonel James M. Rossi who is the Commander of the 110th Wing, Battle Creek Air National Guard will be the keynote speaker.
