KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Tomorrow is Election Day, and yesterday was the last day you could take advantage of an early, in-person polling station in Michigan.
Clerks and their teams will be busy today getting ready for Election Day, which is when most people still vote.
It is possible to vote early by filling out an absentee ballot at your clerk’s office. City of Kalamazoo Clerk Scott Borling says it may not save you any time at City Hall or at their satellite office on campus.
He says it’s too late for absentee voters to mail their ballots which must be delivered by Tuesday at 8pm to count, but they can drop it off at their clerk’s office, or one of 5 drop boxes if you vote in the city of Kalamazoo.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. tomorrow.
While the Presidential race has gotten the most attention, the ballot is packed with other national, state and local candidates, and it may be wise to do some research before you enter the polling place, to make sure your selections reflect your interests.
