KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Kalamazoo jury has found 28-year-old Keyshawn Givhan guilty of 1st degree murder and other crimes in the shooting death on December 30, 2022 of 29-year-old James White Jr.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says Givhan shot White several times in the 900 block of North Burdick Street, and he died at a hospital from the injuries.
Givhan will be sentenced to life in prison without parole on December 2nd.
Co-defendant Jalani Nowling was also convicted of 1st degree murder in the case in February and was also sentenced to life in prison without parole.
