COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Comstock Township board will hear a presentation tonight to redevelop two-acres of property at the intersection of River Street and King Highway.
The property is currently home to a retail space and a few rental homes and the board will be told about changing it to two buildings with first-floor commercial space and 12 second-floor lofts.
That is Comstock Township resident Deb Will.
The redevelopment would also have a bistro and brewpub overlooking the Kalamazoo River and five units of two-story townhomes.
Thomas Rogers says he likes the redevelopment plan for the township.
One person who lives at the site now said she was not aware of the plans, but has noticed efforts to clean up the area.
