KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers are continuing the Driving Forward Blue Wall Bus Tour in Michigan this week.
They stopped at Verhage Fruit Farm & Cider Mill Wednesday evening to rally hundreds of Democrats to vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in November after spending a few days doing the same in Wisconsin.
They have stops Thursday in Flint, Midland, Saginaw, and East Lansing and additional stops are being planned for Friday.
Whitmer says Republicans are welcome to join the fight to keep former President Trump from reclaiming the White House, calling on those who supported former Governor Bill Milliken and former Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush to vote for Harris for President.
The bus tour will continue into Pennsylvania next.
The three states are all battleground states with extremely close polling ahead of the November election.
