LANSING, MI — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is planning some fall road work on I-69. It will begin joint repairs on I-69 between Island Highway and I-96 in Eaton County on Monday. The work will require single-lane closures on northbound I-69, according to MDOT. Drivers should expect delays in the area through the first of November.
Drivers have complained for years about the rough stretch of NB and SB I-69 north of Potterville, not far from GM’s Delta Township auto production plant. MDOT says the work will provide drivers with a smoother, safer driving surface.
