ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office has released a 9-1-1 call from November 2018 as deputies continue to try to find then-23-year-old Brittany Shank of Sturgis.
She had come up to a man’s door without shoes or a coat, bleeding from her feet and arms, and she used his phone to call 9-1-1, and he tried to get her help.
Shank, however, wouldn’t talk to him when he was making the call, went back outside, and was not seen again.
A forensic sketch of the man she is last believed to have been with was also released yesterday.
Several law enforcement agencies have been brought in to help the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office in the case, including Michigan State Police and Western Michigan University’s Cold Case Program.
Here is the 9-1-1 call released by the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office that was placed by Shank.
