DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Detroit Tigers fans are ecstatic with the team’s sweep of the Houston Astros in the American League wild card series.
They gathered at restaurants, bars, and inside Comerica Park yesterday to watch the 5-to-2 win.
Scottie Vining says he plans to be in attendance for at least one game in the American League Divisional Series against the Cleveland Guardians.
It was the fourth playoff sweep in the Tigers’ history, as they swept the American League Championship Series in 1984, 2006, and 2012.
Game one at Cleveland will be Saturday at 1:08 p.m. and can be heard on WKZO AM/FM.
