DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices in Michigan are down to $3.25 a gallon on average to start the week.
Triple-A Michigan says that is the lowest they have been since February and are down 12-cents in the past week, 37-cents lower than last month, and down 40-cents from last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas costs on average $48.
The most expensive gas is in Jackson at $3.37, and Grand Rapids has the lowest price at $3.06.
Locally, Kalamazoo County and Van Buren County are at $3.06, Calhoun County is $3.21, Allegan County is at $3.05, and St. Joseph County is at $3.02.
There are several gas stations in the area with prices under $3 a gallon.
Just went through Paw Paw gas went to $3.40 at the speedways .
