CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Drivers in Calhoun County will have to deal with Michigan Department of Transportation resurfacing projects that will cover nearly 10 miles of three highways over the next several weeks starting on Thursday.
Work will take place on M-37 (Bedford Road) from Creekview Drive to the Calhoun/Barry county line, on M-66 (Capital Avenue) from White Rabbit Road to the Calhoun/Barry county line and on M-78 from M-66 to the Barry/Eaton county line.
MDOT is investing $1.1 million in the three projects which are scheduled to be finished by August 21.
Drivers should be aware of single-lane closures with a flag operation.
MDOT says that based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 13 jobs.
