KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It is too hot to run the Juneteenth 5K this week in Kalamazoo.
The annual Juneteenth 5K presented by the Family Health Center was scheduled to run Monday, but will instead happen on July 1.
Late registration and packet pickup will begin at 5 p.m. and the race will start at 6:30 p.m. at Mayors’ Riverfront Park.
The proceeds from the race will benefit Run This Town Kalamazoo to help them ensure they continue another decade.
The Juneteenth 5K is a timed event and the first 75 registrants receive a shirt and the first 100 finishers receive a medal.
