HASLETT, MI –The Haslett Public Schools Board of Education has selected Patrick Malley to be the district’s next superintendent, according to a press release announcing the hire.
Malley has considerable experience as an administrator in districts throughout Michigan. As the Chief Academic Officer for Bay City Public Schools since 2019, Malley served in the capacity of deputy superintendent with a specific focus on academic programs, continuous improvement, curriculum, instruction, professional development, grants, principal evaluation, technology, and assessments.
The school says it has entered into contract negotiations with Malley. The new superintendent expected to assume the position July 1, 2024. Malley succeeds retiring superintendent
Steve Cook who served in Haslett Public Schools as superintendent since 2016, and previously worked as director of finance and CFO for the district.
