EAST LANSING, MI — For the second straight year, Michigan State University incoming freshmen students living on campus will likely pay 6.8% more for housing and dining this fall.
The MSU Board of Trustees has to yet approve the hike for food and housing, which it is expected to do at its Friday morning meeting.
The university’s Division of Student Life and Engagement, which is recommending the rate hikes, says the increase is due to rising inflation and maintenance costs.
