COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A single vehicle accident late Thursday morning claimed the life of a 61-year-old man.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the vicinity of North Sprinkle Road and East Main at around 11:50 a.m. and discovered that a sedan had apparently left the road and struck a tree.
The victim was determined to have traveling south on Sprinkle when the accident occurred, and had been the only occupant of the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial investigation indicated that speed may have been a factor in the crash.
The victim’s name is currently being withheld.
The investigation is continuing.
