BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A 30-year-old man was shot by his right ankle early Thursday morning on Battle Creek’s northeast side.
Battle Creek Police are investigating what they are calling a targeted shooting in the first block of North Union Street.
LifeCare Ambulance took the man to Bronson Battle Creek Hospital and he was treated for the non-life-threatening injury.
Police found gunshot casings at the scene, and believe the suspect left the area in a black truck or Dodge Durango SUV.
