LANSING, MI — Media Partner 6 News in Lansing is reporting that the Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant for General Motors is pausing production today due to a “temporary supply-chain issue.” A company spokesman for GM confirmed the development.
However, at this time GM is not saying what led to the supply-chain issue or what supplies they are short on. GM plans to restart the plant “as soon as possible.”
Approximately 2,100 hourly employees are being affected. The plant build the Chevy Traverse and Buick Enclave SUVs.
