(Reuters) – Auckland International Airport welcomes inquiry into whether the airport operator should be subject to more regulation, it said on Wednesday, after Air New Zealand called for the inquiry into additional oversight.
“Air New Zealand has today called for a Commerce Commission inquiry into whether Auckland Airport should be subject to additional regulation,” the airport operator said, calling the oversight “an important aspect of effective regulation.”
