Theft of old school bell from Hunt Cemetery being investigated by CCSD

CLARENCE TOWNSHIP, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a bell which has sentimental value to a lot of citizens.

They were contact on Thursday by the Clarence Township Office in regards to a larceny at Hunt Cemetery on V Drive North of the old school bell.

The bell that was on the grounds was stolen within the last week. It belonged to the school that was once at this location.
