KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Public Library is suspending service at the Alma Powell Branch Library on the city’s northside as they look for a new location.
The library is currently in the Douglass Community Association, which has switched to a new security protocol that officials say violates the Michigan Library Privacy Act.
The Alma Powell Branch will close on February 3 and temporary libraries and mobile libraries will be used during the search for a new home.
