BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Ground was broken on Friday for a second Industrial Partners USA industrial speculative building on Watkins Road.
Battle Creek Unlimited was among those taking part in the official groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of a project that started in 2020.
They say $20 million is being invested in a 502,000 square foot industrial facility. Industrial Partners USA is a joint venture between Clark Logic and Great Lakes Capital.
Battle Creek Unlimited sold 34 acres of land to Industrial Partners USA for the construction of a new spec building. The land was owned by the Battle Creek Tax Increment Finance Authority which is managed by BCU.
BCTIFA had previously leased the property as farmland after buying it in 1997.
