BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – — Crews for the City of Battle Creek are repairing the blue bridge along Battle Creek’s Linear Park for the next week.
That means there is a temporary closure of the Linear Park along the Kalamazoo River, between M-37/South Bedford Road and Stringham Road.
City officials say the repair work will involve crews removing the existing wooden deck of the blue bridge and replacing it with new wood.
Work hours will generally be from 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each day. Repairs are expected to be completed by Friday, December 15, depending on any weather-related delays.
This section of Linear Park will reopen once the repair work is completed, as well.
