BRUSSELS (Reuters) – Dutch politician Wopke Hoekstra, the country’s nominee to run the European Union’s climate change portfolio, said on Monday that he would look to follow advisors’ recommendations for the EU to cut emissions by at least 90% by 2040.
Hoekstra also told a hearing at the European Union (EU) parliament that he would look to get support around the world for a global aviation levy.
