LANSING, MI — The Executive Director for the Capital Area District Libraries (CADL) is leaving after 18 years in his position. Scott Duimstra’s last day with the Lansing library system will be Oct. 6.
“It has been a privilege to serve the CADL community as Executive Director these past six years,” Duimstra said in a press release. “I am grateful for the support of our dedicated board, exceptional staff, passionate members, and the entire CADL community.”
Duimstra says he is confident CADL is poised for even greater success in the future.
Assistant Director Jolee Hamlin has been appointed interim director, according to the CADL Board of Trustees. A search for a new executive director is already underway.
