KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Tonight is the first game of the fall football season for the Loy Norrix Knights and Kalamazoo Central’s Maroon Giants who are set to play each other, and new Superintendent Darrin Slade says he would like to see the stands full.
He says he has heard from some that there has been trouble at games in the past, and he is making it clear he wants students and parents to be able to enjoy the games.
And Slade says misbehavior will not be tolerated.
And Slade isn’t shy about the fact that his last school district won multiple state championships, and that he is used to thousands coming out for sporting events.
The kick-off game is Tonight at 5 p.m. at Kalamazoo Central Stadium.
