THORNAPPLE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Barry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash that sent two people to the hospital late Wednesday evening on August 23.
It happened around 10:40 p.m. at the intersection of North Patterson Road and 108th Street in Thornapple Township.
Preliminary investigation revealed that an eastbound Chevy Silverado failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with a northbound Chevy Malibu.
The driver of the Malibu was airlifted to the hospital is listed in critical condition. The passenger of the Malibu was transported to the hospital by Ambulance and is in serious condition.
The driver of the Silverado however was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation, and authorities say that drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor.
