BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Two MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles will be at the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base on Friday.
They are part of Michigan’s annual multinational training exercise called Northern Strike.
This event marks the first time these kind of vehicles have landed in Battle Creek.
Air Force Colonel Daniel Kamer and 110th Wing Commander says “This is a momentous occasion for the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base and the entire community. Having the MQ-9 here as
part of Northern Strike is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our personnel. We are thrilled to offer our base members the opportunity to witness this groundbreaking aircraft event up close.”
The training exercise is designed to build readiness and joint interoperability with units and multinational partners.
