KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A man who was shot at an apartment complex near Kalamazoo nearly a week ago has died from his injuries.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Davion Lamar Johnson passed away after the Sunday, July 23 shooting that happened around 8:15 p.m. at the Concord Place Apartments on West KL Avenue near South Drake Road.
Johnson was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital following the incident.
As of Thursday, July 27, the sheriff’s office did not say what led to the shooting or if anyone has been arrested.
