KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It was an early morning wake up call on Thursday, July 13 for Kalamazoo County deputies as they responded to a hit and run accident in Osthemo Township.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened around 4:35 a.m. in the area of Green Meadow and Dragonfly where deputies discovered that two juveniles had taken a vehicle without permission and struck several vehicles as well as structures within the complex.
No injuries were reported by the Osthemo Township Fire Department who responded to assess the structural damage caused by the vehicle strike.
The juvenile suspect was identified and the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office plans to submit charges against the suspect in this case.
