LANSING, MI — MDOT officials in Lansing say they want to make travel as easy as possible as one-point-seven-million Michiganders are estimated to be traveling at least 50 miles from home for the Fourth of July.
Therefore, lane restrictions on 99 state road and bridge projects will be removed for the July 4th holiday starting at 3 p.m. today. The Michigan Department of Transportation says those will be gone until 6 a.m. Wednesday, but will stay in place for 76 ongoing projects.
