PHILADELPHIA — One of the Michigan State shooting survivors has a new piece of memorabilia courtesy of one of the NBA’s biggest stars. John Hao was personally invited by the Sixers to yesterday’s Eastern Conference game 4 matchup against Boston.
After James Harden hit the overtime three-pointer that sealed the win and tied up the series for the Sixers, he took off his sneakers, signed them, and handed them over to Hao who was courtside.
Hao, who was left paralyzed after the shooting, has developed a long-distance friendship with the Sixers star.
