LANSING, MI — A statewide tornado drill will be held today at 1:00 p.m. This is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Michigan.
Officials say the drill is to take the time to consider where you would take shelter if a tornado warning was issued. Sirens will be sounded across Ingham, Easton and Clinton counties today at approximately 1:00 p.m. Radio and TV stations will also be issueing a test of the Emergency Alert System at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon.

March is Severe Weather Awareness Month in Michigan. The weather forecast for mid-Michigan today does not include any risk fo severe weather. The Storm Tracker 6 says it will be cloudy with scattered rain showers late and the high 51′.
