KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Black History Museum, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, has officially launched its merchandise fundraiser.
T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies are being sold to raise money for the museum and its scholarship fund with prices ranging from $25 for adult t-shirts to $35 for hoodies. 2XL and 3XL sizes are $2 more.
Garments are being sold in black or white colors with a choice of the standard logo or Lion’s head design, with a portion of each garment sold going to the Kalamazoo Black History Museum Scholarship Fund.
The museum organization has already pledged its first $1,000 scholarship to the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. chapter at Western Michigan University with additional funds to be allocated to other black fraternities and sororities on campus when available.
