LANSING, MI — Former director of the Lansing Catholic Diocese’s St. Francis Retreat Center in DeWitt is charged with embezzling 830-thousand-dollars from three retired priests.
Attorney General Dana Nessel on Thursday said 70-year-old Father David Rosenberg of Dewitt is facing seven charges after being arraigned. He was the retreat’s director from 2015 until last year and spent the embezzled funds on his charitable foundation called FaithFirst.
Rosenberg, who declined comment through his attorney, is due back in court on December 15.
