The Michigan State University Board of Trustees held a special meeting Monday where they announced Teresa Woodruff will serve as interim president starting Nov. 4. Woodruff currently serves as Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Michigan State University.
EAST LANSING, MI — The services of MSU President Samuel Stanley may not be required at the school much longer. The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will consider naming an interim president as a special meeting today. They will meet at noon today on campus in East Lansing.
President Samuel Stanley submitted his resignation on October 13, effective within 90 days, after the trustees began investigating his handling and certification of Title IX reports and the forced resignation of business school dean Sanjay Gupta. Stanley had expected to to be at the school until January.
