EAST LANSING, MI — The Michigan State University Faculty Senate is telling the Board of Trustees to stop interfering with the university’s academic management.
That terse letter was sent Tuesday and says they will take a nonbinding vote in the next two weeks about their confidence in the trustees. Also sending letters yesterday were President Samuel Stanley Jr. and Provost Teresa Woodruff telling trustees to back off and to end an external invesitgation into the firing of an embattled dean.
All three letters are concerning the investigation into the resignation of Sanjay Gupta as the Broad Business school dean.
