WAYNE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County Sheriff’s deputies believe speed and alcohol to be factors in a single-vehicle crash where a driver lost control of his truck and rolled it several times before coming to a stop on the driver’s side.
Authorities say the crash happened in Wayne Township around 11:20 Wednesday night, September 7, near Gage Street north of Dowogiac when a 38-year-old Male from Miamisburg, OH was traveling northbound on Rudy Road when he lost control of his vehicle.
The driver was taken to South Bend Memorial for his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
Deputies were assisted on scene by Dowagiac Police, Wayne Township Fire Department, Dowagiac Fire Department and Pride Care Ambulance.
