LANSING, MI — The Board of State Canvassers will decide today if the Reproductive Freedom for All ballot initiative will be on the November ballot in Michigan.
The petition seeks to put abortion rights into the state constitution if the ballot proposal were to pass. Petitioners turned in over 750-thousand signatures to state officials.
Backers of the proposal have said a recent poll found 67-percent of Michiganders support protecting reproductive rights.
