LANSING, MI — Two of Lansing’s most traveled downtown streets will be reconfigured beginning on Saturday.
City road crews will turn Grand Ave. and Capitol Ave. from one-way streets into two-way traffic from Oakland Avenue to Washtenaw Street, according to city officials. The changes cut right through the heart of downtown Lansing.
Those plans for changes have been discussed for years with the city collecting resident feedback on several occasions. The city crews plan to remove all lane markings and then paint new traffic lines beginning on Saturday with the work being completed by Sunday at the latest.
