LANSING, MI — Conservative political commentator Tudor Dixon is now the frontrunner among Republicans who want their party’s nomination for governor, but many Michigan voters have not yet made up their mind, according to a new political poll.
The latest WDIV/Detroit News poll released this week shows Dixon with 18-point-nine-percent support, followed by Kevin Rinke at 15-point-six-percent, Ryan Kelley at 13-point-two-percent, Garrett Soldano at 12-point-two-percent, and Ralph Rebandt at one-point-8-percent.
Just over 38-percent of Republicans polled are undecided. The Republican race for governor for thee chance to meet Gov. Gretchen Whitmer(D) in the fall will be decided on Tuesday Aug. 2 in the Michigan primary.
