CLEVELAND, OH (WKZO-AM-FM) – Cleveland scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to give themselves a 6-5 win over visiting Detroit and send the Tigers to their third straight defeat.
Riley Greene homered and doubled and finished with 3 RBI as Detroit chased Cleveland starter Zach Plesac by scoring all of their runs in the third and fourth innings.The Guardians bullpen were able to shut out the Tigers the remaining 5-1/3 innings as they mounted their comeback.
Michael Fulmer tool the loss out of the bullpen.
The series concludes this weekend, prior to the All-Star Break.
