KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kzoo Parks says that Kik Pool at 1018 Walter Street in Kalamazoo is scheduled to open for the 2022 season from Wednesday, June 8 to Sunday, August 14.
The pool will be open for Lap Swim seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and Open Swim, Monday through Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Season pool passes are currently available for purchase at the Kzoo Parks office at 251 Mills Street, and starting on June 8, day and season passes will be available for purchase at the pool. Season passes are available for individuals or families.
In addition to Kik Pool, the Florence Street Splash Pad at 534 Florence Street, and Woods Lake Beach at 2900 Oakland Drive offer opportunities to cool off during the summer.
The Florence Street Splash Pad will be open from Monday, June 13 through Monday, September 12 with water features available daily between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Woods Lake Beach will also available daily in the summer from 8 a.m. to sunset.
Construction is underway on a new splash pad at LaCrone Park at 535 West Paterson that is expected to open this summer.
